Nice try, dinner brain.

This site is on your block list. Take ten, drink water, and make the adult-food decision on purpose.

Features

The little speed bump your cravings hate.

FitShield is built for the moment between "I am hungry" and "Why is a burrito somehow $31?"

Delivery Site Blocking

Block food delivery domains so the checkout page never gets to audition.

Fast Food Blocking

Cut off drive-through browsing, promo pages, and late-night menu spirals.

Custom URL Blocking

Add your own problem sites because every household has its own final boss.

Timers Before Access

Use delay timers when blocking forever is too much, but instant access is chaos.

Scheduled Blocking

Set stricter windows for evenings, workdays, or any danger zone with a clock.

Theme Customization

Tune colors and themes so the blocker feels like yours, not a corporate lecture.

Ethos

Less slop. More agency.

FitShield is for people who like convenience but dislike being speedrun by dark patterns, coupons, countdowns, and glossy photos of fries.

You own the rules. You can inspect the code. You can change your mind. The point is not shame. The point is one honest pause before impulse browsing turns into an expensive edible jump scare.

Install

Manual install for now. Store listings are cooking.

FitShield is early and open-source. Until the browser stores are live, install it manually from GitHub as an unpacked extension.

  1. Open the FitShield GitHub repository.
  2. Download or clone the latest source.
  3. In Chrome or a Chromium browser, open the Extensions page.
  4. Turn on Developer Mode, then choose Load unpacked.
  5. Select the FitShield extension folder and start blocking temptation portals.
