Privacy

Plain English Privacy Policy

FitShield is designed to help you block impulse food browsing without turning your habits into somebody else's dataset.

The short version

FitShield does not sell user data. The extension is designed to run locally in your browser, with your blocking rules and preferences kept on your device.

What FitShield stores

FitShield may store settings such as blocked URLs, schedules, delay timers, and theme choices. Those settings are intended to stay in your browser's local extension storage.

What FitShield does not do

FitShield does not include external trackers, analytics scripts, or ad pixels on this website. The extension is not built to sell, rent, or broker your browsing behavior.

Payments and merch

If FitShield ever offers store items, merch, donations, or paid extras, payments will be handled outside the extension by the payment provider shown at checkout. The extension itself should not process payment card data.

Open source

FitShield is GPLv3 open-source software. You should be able to inspect how it works, question it, fork it, and make it less annoying if it ever becomes annoying.

Contact

Questions, bug reports, and privacy concerns can go to contact@fitshield.net. This is a placeholder contact address until the project publishes a permanent support channel.
