This license applies to curated FitShield data files. This includes, without limitation:

• data/
• delivery.json
• fast-food.json
• recipes/
• Any JSON blocklist, recipe, meal plan, ingredient mapping, nutrition metadata,

alias, metadata, category mapping, or related curated data file, wherever located, unless that file states otherwise.

The repository's root software license applies to source code. It does not grant rights to reuse, redistribute, repackage, sell, or commercially exploit the curated data except as allowed below.

The curated data is publicly available to promote transparency and community contributions while preserving ownership of the continuously maintained dataset.

This license does not grant rights to use the FitShield name, logo, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, or branding.

Definitions

Curated Data means the FitShield-maintained collection of JSON blocklists, recipes, meal plans, ingredient mappings, nutrition metadata, aliases, category mappings, classifications, recommendations, and related datasets covered by this license.

Permitted Uses

You may:

• View, inspect, and audit the curated data in this public repository.
• Use the curated data as part of the official FitShield project.
• Submit issues and pull requests to improve the curated data.
• Fork the repository only for review, testing, or contribution back to

FitShield.

Restrictions

You may not, without prior written permission from Usha Corporation:

• Remove or obscure copyright, license, attribution, or ownership notices from

copies of the curated data.

• Repackage, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the curated data.
• Redistribute or publish the Curated Data as a standalone dataset outside the

permitted uses of this license.

• Use the curated data, in whole or in substantial part, to build or improve a

competing browser extension, API, database, filtering product, recipe database, nutrition dataset, recommendation system, or service.

Contributions

By contributing changes to Curated Data, you agree that your contribution may be incorporated into the FitShield dataset. You retain copyright in your original contribution, but grant Usha Corporation a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, maintain, publish, distribute, and sublicense your contribution as part of the FitShield dataset under this license.

No Warranty

The curated data is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, including but not limited to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

FitShield Branding License

• The FitShield name
• The FitShield logo
• The FitShield shield icon
• The FitJack mascot
• All mascot artwork, poses, expressions, and illustrations
• Application icons
• Website graphics
• Marketing artwork
• Product branding
• Trade dress
• Service marks
• Trademarks
• Any future branding assets released by Usha Corporation unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The repository's software license applies only to source code.

The FitShield Data License applies only to the curated datasets.

Neither license grants permission to use FitShield branding.

Ownership

All FitShield branding remains the exclusive property of Usha Corporation.

Nothing in this repository transfers ownership of any branding asset.

Permitted Uses

You may:

• View branding assets contained in the repository.
• Use branding assets when contributing directly to the FitShield project.
• Display screenshots of the project when discussing, reviewing, or reporting on FitShield.
• Reference FitShield by name when describing or linking to the project.

Restrictions

Unless you receive prior written permission from Usha Corporation, you may not:

• Redistribute the FitShield logo as your own branding.
• Use the FitShield logo to market another project.
• Use the FitJack mascot in another product or service.
• Modify, recolor, redraw, animate, or create derivative versions of FitShield branding for redistribution.
• Create logos or branding that are confusingly similar to FitShield.
• Use FitShield branding in a manner that implies sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation by Usha Corporation.
• Sell merchandise containing FitShield branding.
• Register trademarks, domains, or social media accounts intended to impersonate or represent FitShield.

FitJack

The FitJack mascot is an original character created for the FitShield project.

All rights to the character, including its name, appearance, artwork, personality, future revisions, derivative artwork, and associated branding remain exclusively with Usha Corporation.

The FitJack character may not be copied, redistributed, modified, commercialized, or incorporated into other software, games, media, artwork, mascots, or branding without prior written permission.

Open Source Clarification

FitShield is an open source software project.

Open source does not mean the project's branding is public domain or freely reusable.

You may modify, distribute, and contribute to the software according to the software license, but the FitShield name, logos, mascot, and branding remain protected under this Branding License.

Fan Content

Non-commercial fan art, educational content, reviews, and commentary are generally welcomed, provided they do not imply endorsement by Usha Corporation or misrepresent themselves as official FitShield materials.

Usha Corporation reserves the right to revoke permission for uses that are misleading, defamatory, unlawful, or otherwise harmful to the FitShield project.

Reservation of Rights

Any rights not expressly granted under this Branding License are reserved by Usha Corporation.
